Inbound
October 16, 2025Pit of Despair to Peak Performance: How HubSpot Turned AI Disruption Into Opportunity
Session Recap
As marketing guru and INBOUND speaker, Jay Schwedelson, put it, “INBOUND is a vibe.” Three distinct zones within the Moscone Center plus outdoor space at Yerba Buena Gardens gave attendees space to move, think, and connect in new ways. The Impact, Innovation, and HubSpot zones created an experience that was immersive and one-of-a-kind, fitting for our limited edition year.

HubSpot CEO Yamini Rangan and EVP of Product Karen Ng kicked off INBOUND with a look at what’s new and what’s next. From product innovations to platform enhancements, this year’s Spotlight centered on making AI actionable, your CRM more connected, and your teams more empowered. Rangan introduced Loop Marketing: a new four-step framework designed to help marketers grow in the AI era by learning, adapting, and converting in real time. Get the full playbook here.
“The future of work is hybrid: humans and AI working side by side.” — Yamini Rangan
Karen Ng followed with exciting product updates (200+!), including:

You to the Power of AI: HubSpot co-founder and CTO Dharmesh Shah reminded us that AI is here to work with us and help us be more human. With his simple but powerful T.E.A.M. framework (Triage, Experiment, Automate, Measure), Dharmesh made the future of AI feel doable and exciting. You just need curiosity, context, and the courage to start. Watch the full session here.
“The better AI gets, the more it allows us to be human. And being human is not a bug, it’s our best feature.” — Dharmesh Shah
Hard Things, Strong People: Glennon Doyle on Resilience: Author, activist, and podcast host Glennon Doyle delivered one of the most emotionally resonant talks of the week. With humor and honesty, she discussed the reality of resilience—not as perfection, but as presence. Her “Freedom Fleet” metaphor was a powerful call to move through the world together, with courage and care.
How AI Will Transform Business in the Next 18 Months: HubSpot CEO Yamini Rangan sat down with Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, to unpack how AI is scaling in the real world and why responsibility and safety need to scale with it. Watch the full session here.
“We’re heading to a world where everyone needs AI.” — Dario Amodei
HubSpot Hot Ones: In an epic showdown of Halligan vs. Heat, HubSpot’s co-founder Brian Halligan joined Sean Evans special INBOUND edition of Hot Ones. Wings were eaten, tears were shed (almost), and leadership lessons were shared.
The Art of Yes, And: Amy Poehler’s Improv-Driven Success: From launching her podcast to leading teams, actor and producer Amy Poehler shared what she’s learned about starting things without overthinking, trusting great collaborators, and leading with humor and heart.
“I think perfection or the anticipation of rejection can really get in the way of just getting things done.” — Amy Poehler
This year, INBOUND reimagined how and where learning happens, designing immersive spaces and session formats that met attendees where they are: curious, creative, and ready to dive in.
Innovation Zone: Startups, prototypes, and breakthrough thinking all in one place, this zone was where possibility lived and future ideas started taking root.
Impact Zone: Purpose-driven sessions and powerful storytelling took center stage in the Impact Zone, where marketers, founders, and creatives came together to explore how business can be a force for good.
HubSpot Zone: The heartbeat of the platform. In the HubSpot Zone, attendees explored live product demos on the Product Spotlight Demo Stage, got hands-on help at DemoSpot, and connected directly with teams across Sales, Support, and Product all in one place.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be rolling out 30+ sessions on HubSpot and INBOUND’s YouTube channels. Stay tuned as we drop replays of keynotes, breakout hits, and can’t-miss moments.
